Many of our staff have been with us for years, taking many steps forward in their careers with us. On this page, we'll tell you a little about our directors. That will give you an idea of the sorts of people you'll be working with, when you entrust your freight services to Loch M Fraser Logistics. John Scodellaro | | Managing Director and Partner | | | John joined Loch M Fraser Logistics in 1988 and became a partner in 1996. He started "at the bottom", and step by step, has mastered each role until in 2008, he reached … the top job. In 1991 John graduated with Honours as a Certified Practising Customs Broker. He has a particular interest in international trade and founded the company's International Freight Forwarding division in 1996. John says his greatest achievements are surviving cancer, which taught him to value every day, the birth of his three beautiful children, and fulfilling his dream of becoming Managing Director of LMF. He works hard to keep fit, and is actively involved in the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Foundation and the Peter MaCallum Cancer Institute charities.
| | | Dave Simmons | | General Manager | | | | Currently, Dave is very focussed on making sure that LMF clients know there is now a Logistics Consultancy Division available to them. He joined LMF as General Manager in 2008, bringing with him 24 years management experience, mostly gained working with multinational companies in Customs Clearance, Freight Forwarding and Logistics Consulting roles. When he's not working at LMF, Dave enjoys life with his partner Rachel and their teenagers Monica and Dale. He also plays guitar in a band that performs regularly around the traps. In the past, when he lived in the country, Dave Captained his local cricket team and was a member of the Country Fire Authority.
| | | Henry Jolly | | Senior Customs Broker (ACBFCA), Director and Partner | | | Jolly by name, and jolly by nature. That's Henry. But when he's looking after LMF clients, he's single-minded and VERY serious. Henry has been with LMF since 1977, and has really made an impact on the business. He says that among his greatest achievements are being appointed Director in 1989, and obtaining his Customs Brokers Licence in 1988. Personally, he's been married to Elizabeth for 22 years. There's a medal due here somewhere! Elizabeth and Henry have two fabulous children who keep their parents busy in local sporting clubs, where Henry has been President, Secretary and Treasurer! If you want to get Henry going, ask him about his special babies, a 1951 Dodge, and a 2008 Volvo convertible. And if you REALLY want some action, mention the horse, Danzylum, that won Race 10 at the 2008 Melbourne Cup. It was Henry's.
| | | Stevan Stojanovic | | Marketing & Sales Director and Partner | | | | Stevan is an outgoing, friendly former country boy, and he's perfectly suited to his Marketing and Sales Director role at LMF. He likes people, loves delivering superlative service, and it shows in the leadership he provides at LMF. He's been with Loch M Fraser since 2002, having come from 9 years with RACV where, in addition to various other roles Stevan held, he managed 5 RACV retail shops. He's another LMF family man, who's very proud of his wife Raelene and three children. It's plain that Raelene must be a long-suffering person, because Stevan is a petrol head! He's owned 13 cars, 3 of which he's built from the ground up. Still, he's found time to coach the Northern Saints Basketball Club boys, and he plays A Grade Basketball twice a week for Mill Park and Diamond Valley – of which 1 is sponsored by Loch M Fraser Logistics.
| | | Rino Trinchitella | | Financial Controller | | | When Rino was asked for some information about himself for these bio's, he provided about 50 words. So if you had any doubt that he's a TRUE finance man, who's able to get directly to the point, there you have it! Rino has been safely steering the finances of the LMF ship since 2001. He's a qualified Accountant, with a substantial amount of industry experience. It's pretty easy to guess that chat around the coffee pot at LMF often involves children, and Rino is proud to include the achievements of his own two beautiful daughters. Rino's Italian name is a little deceptive. In fact he's a third generation Aussie, and when he's not at work, Rino also applies his leadership and financial management talents to his local Parish.
| | | Danny Cobb | | Seafreight Transport Manager, Director and Partner | | | | Twenty-one years with LMF. That's a lifetime career for Danny Cobb, and it's a career that has seen Danny grow from a 17 year old straight from school, to his current senior position. Danny says that it's been a very exciting ride to be part of the growth of the professional team at LMF – he wouldn't want to have missed it. When he's not working, he puts a lot of time into his local Junior Tennis Club and he's a keen CFA supporter. There's a theme going on here– Loch M Fraser people share a commitment to family, community and the good of the company and its clients. | | |
