Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) are pleased to share an important update from Hutchison Ports, which today confirmed the signing of a new four-year Enterprise Agreement with unions. This agreement secures operational stability and continuity across its terminals through to 2029. Following discussions with Hutchison Ports executives, FTA/APSA were informed that the agreement was reached quickly to minimise any potential impact on the supply chain. FTA/APSA welcomes this positive outcome, which now rounds out all major container terminal enterprise agreements until 2028-2029, providing welcome stability for the industry, and will continue to monitor developments at Australia's container terminals on behalf of members.
