Dear valued client,Whilst most people will be enjoying the AFL Grand Final Long Weekend in Melbourne, Patrick 1ESD, DPW and VICT will be working.
As a result, many of the vessel availability days will fall over Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
To ensure our clients containers are not subject to any storage issues or missed vessel export cut off, LMF may be required to perform wharf cartage on the Friday public holiday and the weekend.
As you will be aware we face heavy overtime costs in working public holidays and to cover the cost of this we will apply a $190 plus GST surcharge per container that requires collection at the wharf, during this period.
Please ensure that if you fall into this category, you provide paperwork that is customs clear and free of any impediments. It is also worth remembering that if containers have any AQIS impediments such as tailgate, etc. they will have to be returned on Monday to the appropriate depot. This will incur an additional cost.
With respect to exports, could you please ensure containers are PRA'd correctly so they can be lodged at the terminal.
Additionally, most of the empty parks are shut over this period and LMF will not be liable for any demurrage that may occur.
