Scandal-plagued billionaire Richard White is once again at the centre of controversy, following raids by the corporate regulator and the Australian Federal Police at the Sydney headquarters of WiseTech Global.

The raids, carried out at the global logistics giant's Alexandria office on Monday, were prompted by this masthead's February investigation, which revealed allegations that White may have engaged in insider trading — a serious offence carrying a potential prison sentence of up to 15 years.
