With the Easter long weekends fast approaching, many of us are looking forward to a well-earned break. This period includes public holidays on Friday 3^rd of April to Monday 6^th of April 2026.

As is typically the case during this time, we anticipate a range of challenges and delays across the industry. As a transport provider, our operations will be impacted by empty container park (ECP) operating hours and wharf timeslot availability. With shortened trading weeks on either side of the long weekends, our fleet will be operating extended hours to manage deliveries and empty container de-hires. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this busy period.

Please note that Loch M. Fraser cannot accept liability for any demurrage incurred during this time. We strongly recommend contacting your shipping lines in advance to request leniency, flexibility, or additional free time to help minimise potential detention charges arising from reduced ECP availability.

Additionally, upcoming vessel schedules into Melbourne ports may require container collections to occur across public holidays and weekends to avoid wharf storage costs. As such:

• A Public Holiday surcharge will apply to all containers collected over the Easter long weekend

Our Customer Service team will notify you directly if your containers are affected.
