TERMINAL DELAYS DUE TO FOG CONDITIONS

Good morning,

We are currently experiencing major delays at the terminals this morning due to thick fog across the area.

At DP World, straddle operators have been instructed to take additional safety precautions due to poor visibility. In addition, the pre-gate and exit camera systems are being impacted, requiring manual processing of trucks and containers.

1ESD has ceased operations and will advise once operations resume.

DP World MCP has also been closed until visibility improves. While we will make every effort to dehire containers, some may need to be returned via the yard, which may result in additional charges. Please note that LMF will not be liable for any detention charges incurred as a result of these operational delays.

If your containers are affected, a LMF representative will contact you directly.
