As we continue to fly through 2027, it goes without saying that the ongoing volatility in fuel pricing has presented challenges for everyone moving freight, regardless of the mode of transport. I would like to thank all of our clients for their patience and understanding as we've navigated these fluctuations and worked to find the best solutions.

Based on our recent volumes, along with a noticeable increase in urgency from our clients and partners, peak season is now well underway. We are placing greater emphasis on receiving all required information at the time of booking to give your freight the best possible chance of moving as planned.

Rail Update

The rail operators have done an excellent job of minimising the impact of the rolling maintenance shutdowns over the past four weeks, with normal schedules now having resumed.

Please be mindful, however, that space will continue to tighten as we approach Christmas. We strongly recommend booking as far in advance as possible to help secure the capacity required.

Coastal Update

Coastal services are currently experiencing some disruption due to seasonal bad weather, although space remains available across all East–West services.

While the year is certainly flying by, there are still a considerable number of sailings available that can meet pre-Christmas delivery requirements in WA.
