Good morning,
With the Melbourne Cup public holiday approaching on Tuesday, 3 November, please submit your timeslot requests as early as possible to assist with transport planning and scheduling.
Wharf collections and deliveries during this period will be subject to vessel schedules, cargo availability and terminal cut-offs. With most empty container parks expected to be closed on Tuesday, please liaise closely with your shipping lines to confirm container return arrangements and free-time allowances.
Please note that LMF will not accept liability for futile trips, excessive waiting times, storage charges or container detention incurred over the long weekend.
To help avoid delays, please ensure that:
All required paperwork is complete and available for customs clearance, with any outstanding holds or impediments resolved.
All export containers are correctly PRA'd before delivery to the terminal.
At this stage, no additional days or shifts are planned. This may be reviewed depending on wharf schedules and operational requirements.
A $385.00 surcharge will apply to any container collected on Tuesday, 3 November. A Customer Service Representative will contact you if this applies to your containers.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Kind regards,
Danny
