Cosco have announced effective 15th May 2011 they will be implementing an EMERGENCY BUNKER SURCHARGE.
The surcharge will be: USD$125/20' USD$250/40'
This will apply from JAPAN / KOREA / CHINA / HONG KONG / TAIWAN TO AUSTRALIA.
This is to counter the spiralling increases in fuel prices worldwide. This surcharge will be on top of current bunker surcharges in place. Other shipping lines are highly likely to follow.
