PORT OF MELBOURNE TERMINAL INFRASTRUCTURE FEE 2014

Monday, March 3, 2014

Dear Valued Client,

The surcharge will be will be applied to all road transport operators for all container movements, both import and export, handled at the wharf terminal.  The fee
will be charged to all brokers, through the current 1-stop booking system, per slot secured.

It is our understanding the increase at the terminals has come about due to the combined cost of land tax, rental and council rates being increased in the order
of 90% since 2006, and their "inability to continue to carry this burden."

We have been advised that such charges will be on-charged to the brokers effective from 10th of March 2014.

As a result of the above, any time-slots secured on or after 10/03/2014 will incur a charge of $11 plus GST, which will appear on your invoice as
a separate line item.

If I can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact me or Melissa Sharp at any time.

Kind regards,

Danny Cobb
