BROWN MARMORATED STINK BUG EMERGENCY MEASURES

The Department of Agriculture has issued an update on the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug emergency measures.
It is important to note this update will effect any shipments arriving into Australia from the USA after 9th March, 2015. The update also specifies that Air Freight, LCL and FAK shipments are now exempt from these additional measures.
The important questions to ask are:
- Are my goods in the tariff headings listed as high risk goods?
- Will my goods arrive in Australia after 9th March?
We expect an end to these measures towards the end of April, however will keep you updated on any developments between now and then.
