SEVERE WEATHER IN BRISBANE 30/03

Thursday, March 30, 2017

Dear Valued Clients,

The conditions are worsening in Brisbane and many roads are already flooded or impassable.

DPW have now ceased operations completely today, many other empty parks are following suit.

Loch M. Fraser will be closing their warehouse and offices and ceasing deliveries effective immediately.

The safety of our staff is paramount and to delay their travel home any longer will place them at serious risk of not being able to get home or in danger with flooded roads.

We appreciate your understanding at this time as this is completely out of our control.

Many  of our Brisbane clients have already closed and left the offices.

Loch M. Fraser can't and won't be responsible for any container detention incurred whatsoever.

We will do our best to notify individual clients of those containers not able to be delivered today.

We will assess our workloads for tomorrow and advise where we are at a little later this evening. Please note that we may not be able to guarantee your delivery Friday or Monday, as volumes were already high prior to needing to push more from today and we will still need to service wharf slots etc to avoid storage, so these will need to get priority.

Loch M. Fraser will operate on Saturday on a needs / client request basis. As this issue has not arisen as a result of Loch M. Fraser issues, we can't do this at absolutely no cost. We request that clients share the cost of this service with us, therefore we are willing to reduce the Saturday surcharge to $65.00 for a normal metro delivery. Any other areas can be negotiated directly with you if the need arises.

We appreciate your support and understanding during this severe weather event.

Thanks & Kind Regards,
