WHARF CHARGE UPDATE DEC 2019

Dear Valued Client,

As many of you may be aware, VICT and DP World have notified the industry there will be significant increases to their infrastructure fees, please see below.

From 1st January 2020, VICT infrastructure fee is increasing to $127.80 per container.

From 1st January 2020 DP World infrastructure fee is increasing to $128.00 per container.

As you are aware, LMF will have the additional burden of carrying the extra debt as well as administration costs and adhering to strict payment terms

Consequently the final fee we will be passing on will be as follows, from the date we incur these costs, –

VICT / DP World - $135.00 per container

In addition to changes in the Infrastructure charges there have also been increases in VBS Booking Fees and Missed Slot (No Show) Fees, as from the 1/1/20 the following changes will take effect

VICT/DP World – Missed slot Fee              $170.00
DP World – VBS Booking Fee Increase      $    8.00
VICT – VBS Booking Fee Increase               $ 15.00

To date we have not yet received any notifications from Patricks on changes in their charges, however, expect to see their fees increase in the near future.

Finally, there will be an increase in Empty Container Return fees.  We have had advice from some Empty Parks of increases that can be best described as significant, seeing price increases in some cases by as much as 150%.

We are still to receive all of the expected increases from all the Empty Parks, but early indications are that you can expect empty Container Return Timeslot fees to be in the range of $45 per slot.
