BMSB 2019-2020 SEASON UPDATE

Thursday, January 23, 2020

Dear Valued Customer,

Our Singapore treatment provider has ceased accepting any new bookings due to a shortage of Methyl  Bromide in Singapore. This situation is not expected to be resolved until late March.

Until this is resolved, all cargo subject to BMSB treatment in Singapore will be held and shipped in a treatable FAK. Upon arrival in Australia the FAK will be treated at the FCL level.

We encourage our valued customers to arrange treatment for BMSB cargo at port of origin if possible.

We understand cargo may be delayed and additional storage charges may be incurred in Singapore due to this issue and we will do our best to minimise delays and additional costs.

Unfortunately, this situation is out of our control and as soon are we can start LCL treatment in Singapore again we will notify you.

We will keep you up to date with the latest BMSB developments.

For more details please contact David Simmons Tel: 03 9009 5200
