UPDATED WEEKLY FUEL % STARTING SUNDAY 3RD MAY 2026

Dear Client,

Average diesel prices remain volatile due to ongoing conflict in the Middle East. As a result, we will continue to review and update our Fuel Levy on a weekly basis until fuel prices stabilise.

While we are beginning to see the impact of the Government's temporary 50% reduction in fuel excise, global oil market volatility continues to place upward pressure on diesel pricing.

As per the Terminal Gate Price (TGP) for diesel has reduced in recent days, from a national average of 326.80 cpl on Thursday 9th April to 263.5 cpl on Friday 17th April 2026.

In addition, the Government has temporarily suspended the Heavy Vehicle Road User Charges (RUC) for a three-month period. During this suspension, Arrow will deduct 32.4 cents per litre from the TGP price used in our fuel adjustment calculation. This suspension is currently scheduled to conclude on 30 June 2026.

With the above in place the Arrow fuel levy will be reduced to the below, taking effect from Sunday the 3rd of May 2026.

  • VIC 32%
  • NSW 31.62%
  • BRIS 27.07%
  • TSVL 27.07%
  • WA 26.13%
  • SA 31.64%

Fuel represents a substantial component of container transport operating costs.  As a result, and to ensure we can continue providing safe, reliable, and sustainable transport services we are required to adjust our fuel levy.

Given the rapidly changing fuel market, LMF will now review the Fuel Levy on a weekly basis rather than monthly. Adjustments will be made as required to reflect current market conditions. We anticipate that ongoing weekly reviews will continue until fuel markets stabilise.

The weekly Fuel Levy will be advised each Wednesday, with an effective day of every Sunday and can be viewed at any time within your Customer Login Portal.

We understand that changes of this nature can be challenging, and we appreciate your ongoing understanding and support during this period of continued uncertainty.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our team.

Should you require any clarification or assistance regarding these changes, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thankyou
